I’ve talked about quality concerns with the nylon binding on the sliding edge of the CCM EFlex 6 pads, here is another design choice that has gone backwards as well as showing off the poor quality of materials being used in the boot strap.Previously, the boot strap had a removable buckle. While this is a “Total Custom Pro” option, it is disappointing that the removable design is gone and you can’t swap between behind the heel or under heel. You pick one style and are stuck with it.

The other problem here is how bad the material is on these straps. These aren’t even Jenpro, I don’t know why they didn’t stick with the plastic style of straps they used before. Unless those were more expensive (probably) and less durable, but seeing this material already coming apart is frankly very disappointing.
