I’m putting them up against one of the best pants you can get, specifically the CCM HPUCLP, which is the pro stock version of their U+ Crazy Light pants.
These retail focus more on weight, mobility, and now airflow and cooling with AER-TEC. So watch the full review to see if pro stock still reigns supreme!

Overall, these pants are the perfect example of my problem with common thoughts in the hockey world when it comes to equipment.
These pants are ultimately fine, especially if you have never used the best gear these companies have to offer. But when you compare them against the pro stock variants, that don’t really sacrifice weight or mobility for increased protection, it makes it hard to recommend this pants and shows why “good enough” isn’t a compliment and we should be pushing companies to offer the best gear available.
While I also hate to promote my other things, it has become evident to me it is important to get a viewer base that will help me continue doing reviews like this (I can’t afford to always buy new equipment!).
