Someone on ModSquad Hockey asked if the Warrior Covert QRL Pro glove cuff was big enough and mobile enough to remove the need of slash guards so I decided to take some photos of glove comparisons.

The gloves I used here are all 15″ and are as follows: Warrior Covert QRL Pro, CCM QLT, Rebook 11K Pro Extended Cuff, CCM 4R Pro, Reebok Sty2.

The only glove that is even close to restricting mobility is the Reebok Sty2, all of the others open up really well and I have never once felt like my movement was hindered in anyway. Warrior QRL does a great job increase protection with their AxyFlex cuff though and I have to give credit where do.

While I also hate to promote my other things, it has become evident to me it is important to get a viewer base that will help me continue doing reviews like this (I can’t afford to always buy new equipment!).
