History of NHL Replica Jerseys Part 3
In many of my jersey videos I mention how the quality of replica jerseys has gone down ever since the NHL switched jersey styles to the current Reebok Edge template. While I don’t have every jersey style or example of previous generation replica jerseys, I have enough to show the comparisons and how the NHL replica jersey evolved over the years. This series will be in 3 parts since the filmed portions were too long for a single video and to try and limit the amount of pictures on one page. I won’t go into paragraphs of details in these posts but rather bullet points.
Part 3 will feature a Philadelphia Flyers 2012 Winter Classic Jersey, Detroit Red Wings 2014 Winter Classic Jersey, Toronto Maple Leafs 2017 Home Jersey, Toronto Maple Leafs 2017 Centennial Jersey, and 2017 Jersey Notes.

2017 NHL Replica Jersey Notes
- Penguins home and away jerseys have sewn front crests, but penguins home jerseys were used as alternates in 2016 and earlier made jerseys have just a glued crest
- All new jerseys for 2017 have sewn front crests
- I could not find a pattern as to which jerseys have a split lower hem like the Panthers and Leafs Centennial classic.
- Islanders black alternate jerseys have a one piece hem because of the Brooklyn B logo
